Celebrated annually on the 2nd day of October

Founded in 2016, Audiophile Day is a day to appreciate audiophiles and their many contributions to our world. Audiophiles are people that are enthusiastic – even passionate – about excellence in high-fidelity (Hi-Fi) sound/music reproduction. They come from many different backgrounds, have a wide variety of experience levels and interests, and range from young to old.

The values of audiophiles are involved in every stage of music reproduction:  the initial recording of a performance, the mastering and production processes, and, of course, the playback of the recording.

For generations, audiophiles have been contributing to our world as musicians, composers, etc. A tremendous number of innovations in the realms of musical instruments, equipment, accessories, processes, music sources and formats, as well as in acoustics, architecture, and interior design have also been made by audiophiles. Countless jobs around the world have been created and are supported by the existence of audiophiles.

The musical tastes of audiophiles are not necessarily limited – in fact, many audiophiles appreciate a broad range of musical genres and styles.

Audiophiles, we appreciate and celebrate you!
Enjoy the music!
